What is hydroponics? Hydroponics is a subset of hydroculture and is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel, mineral wool, expanded clay pebbles or coconut husk.

How to grow hydroponics? The proper temperature range is a crucial element for success. The optimal temperature range is 65-80°. Make sure you distinguish between warm and cool season crops. You will have the best results if you grow seasonal crops together. Make sure you have a ten degree drop in temperature at night to simulate nighttime. The optimal humidity range for vegetable crops is 50-80% RH (relative humidity), with 50% being the best. A small oscillating fan should be left on 24 hours a day. If growing in an enclosed space, (i.e. No windows) you need an exhaust fan to ventilate the moisture and stale air.
